Winter Vacation in the US – Cold Winter and Warm Winter Destinations
Summer vacation getaways draw much attention because summer vacations are usually the longest. However, that doesn’t diminish the magnificence of winter vacation destinations. In fact, winter destinations offer more options than what summer destinations offer as we will indicate with the US winter destination. Cold Winter Destinations
If your idea about a winter vacation involves being surrounded by white snowy slopes and ice skating rinks, the US has what you are looking for. Skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, sleigh, gondola and horseback riding, snowmobiling, and hiking can all be enjoyed in the mesmerizing settings of several states. Warm Winter Destinations
In case you are more into spending your vacation in a temperate climate rather than a chilly one, US destinations are not short of warm places even during the winter. For instance, the state of Arizona is filled with a number of cities such that each has something unique to offer. In Arizona, you can hike and partake in sightseeing in the wonderful Grand Canyon; dine at fancy restaurants and shop in various locations in Scottsdale; and witness the splendid red sandstone formations in Sedona.
For summer-like activities in the US, Florida and Hawaii have temperate environments during the winter. Florida’s conditions are even more stable during the winter than in other seasons. Families would adore a visit to Disney Land in Florida. Beach activities such as swimming, fishing and snorkeling in the winter are all possible in Key West, Florida Keys. Talking a walk in Key West is also a pleasant activity as the terrain is flat and the weather is encouraging.
