5 Reasons why I buy Baking Soda in Bulk

Baking soda which is scientifically termed sodium bicarbonate is that chemical reagent you add to cookie and cake ingredients to puff them up so that they could have the airy fluffy texture. And if you check the ingredients of medicines of bloating and similar conditions, you will find baking soda among them. However, this is not why I buy sodium in bulk. Why I buy it in bulk is:

1- This is not commonly known, but baking soda is an excellent addition in your skin and hair care routine. It rids you of dandruff and cleans up your hair from the built ups of hair care products. It also Makes your skin sparkle, removes excess oil and treats pimples.

2- It is very effective for getting rid of the stench some food ingredients cause, such as garlic, onion, fish etc. If the odor is in your hands, wet them a bit ad rub them with some baking soda. If the odor is in your mouth, add baking soda to some water and swish it a bit in your mouth to get rid of the odor.

3- I don’t know what is it about baking soda that makes plants thrive, but it certainly has something. Cut flowers won’t wilt as quickly if you add some baking soda to the water they are in.

4- Maybe you already know about this one, but I will say it all the same. Baking soda is an excellent teeth cleaning and whitening material. Add it to your toothpaste or just brush your teeth with it to make them shiny and get rid of the disgusting looking plaque layer.

5- Don’t use harmful and pricy toxins that can get to your pets and children just to get rid of ants. Instead, sprinkle some baking soda and it will rid you of the ants right away.
