If you suffer from the problem of dryness of your body skin, or if you are trying to protect yourself from having it, definitely you are resorting to traditional ways to moisturize your body by providing it with needed liquids to do its functions well.
It’s true that water and liquids are the most important elements to hydrate the body, but sometimes you are doing some mistakes that may hinder this hydration process, such as:
*Drinking water during exercises and not before: Drinking water during exercises is not enough to hydrate your body. You should drink at least eight glasses of water during the day in order to keep your body hydrated even during exercise.
*Sticking to 8 glasses of water a day: To keep your body hydrated you must drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday, but this amount may not be enough for some people whose bodies need more amount of water. So, if you notice that this amount is not sufficient for you, drink more.
*Avoiding drinking coffee and tea: It is common that coffee and tea hinder the hydration process in your body because they include caffeine, but you must know that this is just a rumor. Although, coffee and tea reduce the amount of liquids in the body, but they in turn contain liquids and it’s better to drink little of them rather than refrain from drinking any of them at all.
*Mistaking the need for water, for the need for food: Some people confuse thirst and hunger. They replace water with food and vice versa. Thus, you should stick to the amount of food you eat and drink normally, and drink the required quantities of water before and after meals in order to help your body to be hydrated.
