
5 Things You Should Do to Become a Mentally Powerful Woman
Women have been called the weaker sex for a long time. Nowadays, men do not dare to say similar names about women, at least not in front of them. However, this does not stop them from thinking it! The only way to truly stop the men you interact with from thinking such things is to become a more mentally powerful woman. Here are some of the things you should do to achieve that:
1- Work on your exterior! I know that we are talking about being more “mentally” powerful, but our looks are one of the most important elements in shaping our mentality. It affects how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us. So make sure you always look right and dress right, at least in front of others.
2- Be more healthy. I do not mean that you should follow a certain cleansing diet for a few days. What I mean is that you should follow a healthier lifestyle. Avoid drinking, smoking, fattening rich in free radicals foods. A healthier lifestyle equals more stamina and more accurate flawless performance others will respect.
3- Broaden your horizons. What I mean is, try to avoid time and energy wasting activities like watching soap operas and celebrities’ gossip shows. Look for useful books to read and good programs to watch. Make sure that even your spare time is constructive and that you learn something new with it. This way you develop your personality and thinking.
4- Put yourself in other’s shoes. Think how you would act if you had their more difficult problems and life struggles. This will make you more appreciative of what you have, and more forgiving and understanding with others, and thus mentally stronger.
5- Surround yourself with good company. Things like ambition, optimism, good manners are contagious, and they rub off on those surrounding the people who have them. You should at least avoid people who have a negative effect on you.
