3 Great Natural Hair Conditioner Recipes Made with Eggs

...........................................................................................................

We all know about the benefits of eggs as a food. They are rich in protein, low in calories (When boiled or pouched), and they are one of the not-so-many foods that are rich with vitamin B. The idea might seem disgusting, but making hair conditioners with eggs can be a quick way to revitalize your hair and strengthen it. Here are few of my favorite natural hair conditioners that are made from eggs:

1- Mix one egg with one teaspoon of olive oil and another teaspoon of honey. Apply it to your hair for five minutes before washing it off. This recipe is guaranteed to give you a very strong shiny hair. However, since eggs have that smell that will turn people away, it is advised that you use a shampoo with a lovely fragrance and use scented hair oil afterwards.

2- Here is a not so smelly natural hair conditioner made with eggs: Mix one teaspoon of coconut oil with a cup of water and an egg yolk. Whisk the yolk until it becomes light and fluffy then add the coconut oil and keep whisking then the water.

Gently rub your hair and scalp with the mixture and leave it on for about five minutes before washing your hair with lukewarm water. This recipe removes extra oils from hair so it is great for oily hair. Moreover, coconut oil has a straightening effect so it will make your hair much softer.

3- This is another hair conditioner you can make with eggs and other things found at home and It will quickly fix your split ends. You need half a cup of yogurt and half a cup of mayonnaise then add to them the egg whites of one egg.

Mix all of this with a fork and spread it on your hair and do not forget the ends. It is a thin mix so wrap your head in a towel so it would not drip. Leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off. Wash it off with tepid water (not hot!).
